One thing that is never in short supply on a cruise is food options! We sailed on the Symphony of the Seas for the first time this year. There are so many different food venues to choose from and many are included in the price of your cruise! There is a hot dog place on the boardwalk, central park cafe, a Mexican grab and go taco/nachos plus the usual buffet and main dining areas. In addition there were 4 specialty dining restaurants, Johnny Rockets and the Play Makers sports bar had snacks available for purchase. We mostly ate dinner each night in the Main dining room. Each night was a different experience and all of the food was amazing. One night we ate at Jamie's Italian restaurant. The food was okay, but I thought the Italian in the main dining room was better. My husband and I also tried the onion rings and cheese fries at the Play Makers bar. They were extra cost, but definitely worth the money! When we reached port we tried a few dining venues in the ports. In Roatán our excursion was to the local island brewery. We each tasted a flight of beer and had a snack of sausage and pretzels. The brewery was very nice and I highly recommend it if you visit the island. Back at the port, before we boarded the ship we had lunch at a small Cantina restaurant. We tried the local beer and had Kebabs. The food there was delicious! In Costa Maya we had drinks and chips at one of the port restaurants and in Cozumel we visited our favorite spot Tequila a Go Go. We had lunch here on our first trip to Cozumel. They have amazing street tacos, queso and salsa as well as drinks. We definitely did not go hungry on this trip!
